Jon P. Segura

Jon P. Segura is the newest addition to the Landry, Watkins, Repaske, and Breaux family. Born and raised on a sugarcane farm, he has the traditions of New Iberia instilled in him. With his background in agriculture, he wants to give farmers in our community a comfortable place to go for all legal needs.

Jon intends to develop a strong and well-balanced practice covering business transactions, personal injury, real estate, general litigation, estate planning and successions, family law, agriculture, and other general practice areas.

When asked why he chose to join the firm, Jon said: “Landry Watkins has such deep roots in this community and that is why I wanted to come and become a part of this family. I want to help the clients I represent through any issue they may be having, whether that is a challenging moment in life or learning how to deal with day-to-day obstacles.”

Jon comes from a family of farmers and educators. He is a 7th generation farmer and a member of one of the founding families of New Iberia. In his spare time, he likes to hunt, fish, play golf and softball, spend time with his family, and always loves supporting the purple and gold of LSU.
